Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only daughter of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a employee of a plant. She was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone, who was gifted when she was an infant, started her second-grade education at age five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she graduated in 1975. She was also a contestant at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to explore a career as a model. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe and spent a full year in Milan in Italy and Paris. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene and modeling in Europe she decided to go into acting in Europe while she was there. At 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
